Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced to set up an ethanol plant in Bemetara district, upgrade Nandghat sub tehsil to tehsil and Bhimbhori as sub tehsil along with dedicating developmental works to the tune of Rs 98 crore in Bemetara district on Tuesday.
Addressing A public gathering at Basic School Ground, Bemetara, Chief Minister assured the farmers that paddy will be procured at Rs 2500 per quintal and Centre has been urged to procure paddy as earlier.
While speaking on the occasion, Home minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said systematic development of Bemetara district will be done and a four-lane road will be constructed.
He also spoke on as how state culture is being conserved and promoted and assured people of providing all assistance in developing tourists’ spots in district.
Agriculture minister Ravindra Choubey urged people to harvest water to recharge ground water by building structures on rivulets.
Chief Minister gave away different materials based on various schemes for women and children, e-rickshaw, sewing machines, battery run tri-cycle and others.
