As part of nationwide launch of Electoral verification programme, Chief Electoral Officer (Chhattisgarh) Subrat Sahoo launched the drive on Sunday in Raipur. He also verified the process of verification of officers and employees working with CEO office.
Sahoo said it is an ambitious programme of Election Commission of India, so everyone has to remain alert and vigilant while completing the work.
He hoped that all the district collectors and District Electoral Officers, having launched event at district level, will ensure SVEEP activities to create awareness among the voters so that more and more voters pass through verification process.
The voter can through NVSP portal, Voter Helpline App or common service centres avail the facility of verification and corrections of existing details, furnishing details of family members and verifying their entries, updating details of family members already enrolled as voters but permanently shifted or expired, furnishing details of eligible un-enrolled family members (born on or before 1.1.2001) and furnishing GIS coordinates of House (through mobile App) to avail better electoral services.
