Cop rescues electrocuted electrician from electrocution

Timely help by a police inspector saved the life of an electrician at the police lines in Gurugram during the intervening night of September 13 and 14.

According to police, on the night of September 13/14, the power system suffered a fault in flat number 603 of J Tower at the police lines. Electrician Parasram was called to fix it.

"The electrician got electrocuted while rectifying the fault. He started frothing and was on the verge of collapse when Inspector Chander Prakash, who lived in the opposite flat, arrived. With the help of Inspector Suresh Kumar and Sub-Inspector Satish Dagar, he succeeded in taking away electrician from the electric wire. They administered first aid to Parasram and was taken to the hospital in Chandra Prakash's private car. Inspector Chander Prakash's timely intervention and presence of mind is being appreciated," said Subhash Boken, the spokesperson of Gurugram Police.

"I immediately rushed him to a private hospital with the help of other policemen. Timely treatment saved his life," Inspector Chander Prakash said. Parasram was all praise for the timely help that he received from his saviour Chandra Prakash.
