In a grand programme organised at Cultural Hall BHEL, Bhopal DK Thakur, Executive Director was given a warm farewell on Thursday on attaining the age of superannuation. In a simple programme C Ananda took over charge from DK Thakur. During a meeting held with all general managers Thakur handed over charge to C Ananda, Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal.
Later, Thakur and Ananda visited various blocks of the factory. Thakur addressing the employees at cultural hall appreciated the values of the employees & the work culture of the unit. He paid all credits to BHEL for his professional as well as personal achievements in life. Despite the stressed market conditions, Bhopal unit’s position is satisfactory, added Thakur.
He further, said that the need of the hour is the commitment & dedication of the employees. He said that the experience of the employees is the asset for the company.
Ananda in his address said Thakur to be a role model for the organisation. He said that an official of his stature is the strength for BHEL. He also appreciated the leadership qualities of Thakur. M Isadore, General Manager, (HR) wishing Thakur a happy retired life welcomed Ananda as the Executive Director of the unit. Binoy Kumar, AGM (HRM) proposed the vote of thanks.
