BJP national general secretary and MP Bhupinder Yadav on Sunday alleged that the Naveen Patnaik Government has failed in making Central schemes reach grassroots level. So, people would drive away it in the upcoming general elections.
“People have been fed up with the failures of the Naveen Patnaik Government. This time, people of Odisha will elect the BJP to form Government,” Yadav said at a Press conference here.
Yadav said the BJP will inform people about various welfare schemes introduced by the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre and how the State Government has failed in implementing them.
Stating that country’s real development depends on the development of farmers, he said the Modi Government has always given priority on the agriculture sector. “While UPA Government had allocated Rs 1,21,000 crore for the agriculture sector between 2009 and 2014, the Modi Government gave out Rs 2,11,000 during its five years.
On Sunday, former PCC vice-president Jayashree Patnaik and many BJD and Congress workers of the Bolagada Assembly constituency joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and retired administrator Aparajita Sarangi.
