Winners of the Odisha State Film Awards-2018 were announced by Tourism and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi here on Tuesday.
Dramatist and lyricist Bijay Mishra would be conferred with the prestigious Jayadev Award for lifetime achievement and contribution to Odia movies.
While Mihir Das has bagged the best actor award, Archita Sahu would get the best actress award and Manmohan Mohapatra the best director award.
‘Bhija Matira Swarga’ has been adjudged as the best feature film, for which producer Akshay Parija will receive the Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami Award.
In other categories, Niranjan Reddy has grabbed the best story writer (Ole Ole Dil Bole), Shantiraj Khosa best music director (Feriaa), Karunakar best playback singer (male for Feriaa), Antara Chakraborty best playback singer (female for Saathi tu feriaa), Dillip Ray best photographer (Bhija Matira Swarga), Amarendra Mohapatra best editing (Feriaa), Basant Raj Samal best lyrics (Saathi tu feriaa), Ashutosh Mohapatra best screenplay (Bhija Matira Swarga), Manoj Mishra best supporting actor (Champion), Sibani Khara best supporting actress (Feriaa), Rakhi best comedian (Deewana heli toh pain), Sarthak Hota best child artist (Feriaa), Nandalal Mohapatra has bagged best dialogue writer (Bhija Matira Swarga).
