The Chief Minister has assured to hand over a building of the Laxmi Narayan College soon, said Health Minister Naba Kishore Das here on Tuesday.
Das added the Chief Minister has taken up the issue of LN College seriously for which residents of Jharsuguda and former Students Union president of the college and Brajrajnagar MLA Kishore Kumar Mohanty have been repeatedly requesting him.
A few days back, an MoU has been signed by the State Government with Vedanta Company at Bhubaneswar for setting up an ultramodern pathology laboratory at Jharsuguda within one and a half years time, Das said.
The bus stand at Jharsuguda will also be constructed shortly. The promises made by the Chief Minister for the development of Jharsuguda district are going to be fulfilled one after another, he told.
The women of the district will be getting assistance upto Rs 10 lakh each under Biju Patnaik Health Scheme and others will get Rs 5-7 lakh. The problem of shortage of doctors will be removed shortly for which a process has been initiated, the Minister informed.
