The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday alleged that Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader and then Agriculture Minister, Mathura Prasad Mahto had given nod to proposal of amendment in section 21 of CNT Act and section 13 of SPT Act to convert agricultural land in to non-agricultural land for levying rent on May, 2, 2011.

He did not define local policy during his own tenure of 14 months as Chief Minister. At that time lakhs of people were debarred from the jobs. JMM is anti-local and anti-indigenous people,” he added.
Shahdeo said that NDA will win all 14 seats of the State in this election as all the partners parties of the alliance are working in coordination to ensure victory of every candidates. “After a long time the Country has got Prime Minister like Narendra Modi. The Opposition parties have abused more than 50 times to PM, now people will answer all such abuses with ballots,” he added.
All the spokespersons exuded confidence that not only in the Jharkhand, but in entire country BJP will perform well with its candidates winning the election with huge margin on the issue of development and nationalism. “Now the people of Jharkhand have understood that the opposition parties only use local and indigenous people as vote bank. “However, the Centre and the State governments have included them with mainstream of development,” said Shahdeo.
State Lok Janshakti Party spokesperson, Umesh Tiwary, State Janata Dal (United) Spokesperson, Shravan Kumar and State AJSU Party Spokesperson, HasanAnsari were present on the occasion.
