Trainee IPS officers call on Governor, CM, DGP

2017 Batch Trainee Officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) called on Chhattisgarh Governor Balramji Das Tandon, Chief Minister Raman Singh and Director General of Police A N Upadhyay on Friday. 

Governor while welcoming the trainees to Chhattisgarh called upon them to work with dedication during their service period. Wishing them a bright future, Tandon called upon them to set an example for others to emulate.

He stressed upon the trainee IPS officers to make the impossible tasks as possible so that others follow them.

The 2017 Trainee 15 IPS officers also called on Director General of Police A N Upadhyay at Police Headquarters, Naya Raipur. He briefed them on the challenges of police in State of Chhattisgarh.

It may be mentioned here that the trainee Indian Police Officers (IPS) are in Chhattisgarh as a part of their training schedule.

The team is on a two-day study tour of the State. The officers are- Ms Reshma Ramesham, Adarsh Rajendran, T. Benith, Ketan Bansal, Albert John, K. Ramrajan, R. Anand, Sachin Singhal, Hariram Shankar, K. V. Ashok, Nitin Datttreya, Mehtab Singh, Ajit Singh Shekhawat and Siddharth Kaushal. ADG Admin and Training Sanjay Pillai, Additional DGP (Crime and Research Department) Arun Dev Gautam and I.G.(Training) S.R.P. Kalluri were also present.

Police force plays vital role in development activities: CM

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh during interaction with trainee IPS officers wished them a bright future. He said that police and security forces play a crucial role in maintaining law and order and developmental works.

They provide cover to those who lay roads and build culverts-bridges other crucial works in Dantewada, Sukma, Bijapur and other lWE -affected districts.

He called upon the young police officers to face challenges and ultimately they will be rewardedwith success. They will be tested daily in professional duties.

Dr. Raman Singh called upon the trainees to perform Yoga daily as it gives energy for the entire day.

The officers will tour Bastar also. He said that Chhattisgarh is developing rapidly.

He added that Naya Raipur is the First Smart City of 21st Century. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Aman Kumar Singh and other senior officers were also present.
