Haryana Congress chief Ashok Tanwar will on Thursday begin the next phase of his “Haryana Bachaoo-Parivartan laao” cycle yatra from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, the stronghold of his detractor Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Tanwar and Hooda, who had been at loggerheads for a long time, will begin next phases of their cycle and rath yatra respectively this month.
The third phase of Tanwar’s cycle yatra will be held from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi to Kalanaur from July 19 to 22 while former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will start fourth phase of his ‘Jan Kranti Yatra’ on July 22 from Tohana in Fatehabad.
Hooda is an MlA from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi assembly constituency. Tanwar, a Dalit leader, and Hooda, a Jat, have been holding separate party programmes since 2014 to demonstrate their clout in the state.
