Senior IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi has been honoured by the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) Alumni Association in Mumbai for his rich contributions and exemplary services.
Sethi, who is currently Odisha’s Special Relief Commissioner, Higher Education Secretary and Odisha Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) Managing Director, has been bestowed with Distinguished Alumnus Award-2018 for his emblematic leadership, exemplary services and outstanding contributions to the industry and academia.
NITIE Director Professor Karuna Jain honoured Sethi in the Annual Alumni Meet held in Mumbai on Saturday. Sethi did his Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) at the NITIE in 1989-1990 with an outstanding feat.
The NITIE offers a two-year residential Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering, equivalent to Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, recognised by the Government of India. Later, Sethi joined the Indian Administrative Service.
