Higher reaches of district Mandi, Kulu , Lahul, Spiti and Kangra had the first snowfall of the winter on Friday.
Bara Bhangal , located at the height of 18000 feet in the adjoining Kangra district atop Barot Valley had the heaviest snowfall.
Lahul Valley also had the first snowfall of this winter. The Dehnasar Lake in the adjoining Kangra distict also witnessed the first snow of the winter.
Seraj Valley of this district atop Shikari Devi also had mild snow .
Meanwhile there is heavy rush of tourists is rushing to the high altitude valleys have started visiting Himachal Pradesh. They include hikers, trekkers and bikers.
