The State Cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal of appointing Bhaskar Kumar Choubey as the Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) apart from the approval to the Madhya Pradesh land Revenue Code (Amendment) Bill 2018.
The Cabinet also granted post-facto approval to the Women and Child Development Department for implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Matra Vandana Yojana.
The proposal for amendment in the land Revenue Code was also approved. There is provision in relation to amendment in transfer, sharing of land in life time, seeking help of private authorised agencies in demarcation, diversion, demarcation, settlement, sharing arrangements etc.
The Cabinet has provided post-facto approval to the Women and Child Development Department for the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Matra Vandana Yojana from the year 2017-18 in the State. The Cabinet has also sanctioned Rs1,280 crore and 35 lakh for the implementation of the scheme from 2017-18 to 2019-20.
The Cabinet has given financial approval of Rs55 crore for the implementation of academic activities by the Government Education Colleges, from 2017-18 to 2019-20, under the ‘Teacher’s Education Scheme’ being run to strengthen teachers’ training institutions for teacher’s training. In this order, Rs38.42 crore has been approved for the period 2017-18 to 2019-20 for District Education and Training Institute and Institute of Advanced Studies in Education.
The Cabinet has approved Rs99.50 crore for three-year work plan from year 2017-18 to 2019-20 for the modernisation of madarsas.
The Cabinet has approved a sum of Rs159.67 crore for continuous execution of Suraj Dhara Yojana from 2017-18 to 2019-20 in order to provide high quality seed to small and marginal farmers of scheduled caste and tribe category. Along with this, an approval of Rs38 crore has been granted for continuous running of new fertiliser and seed quality control laboratory.
An approval for Rs30.67 crore was given to set up burn unit at Medical Colleges of Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa.
Besides, the cabinet has given an approval for Rs5 crore to execute construction works and its continuation from the year 2017-18 to 2019-20 in gas affected areas. Approval has also been given to health services of gas relief for continuous implementation of Umbrella Yojana during the period 2018-19 to 2019-20.
