The Amway India launched its Nutrilite traditional herbs range with best of knowledge of Indian traditional wisdom and modern research to offer a comprehensive range of nutraceutical product supplements with physiological benefits to strengthen its nutrition and wellness product portfolio here on Friday.
launching the herbs range, Amway India Nutrition and Wellness category head Ajay Khanna said the new range offers an assured level of purity, safety and potency (PSP) of herbs as it passes through a stringent seed to supplement the process of ensuring a world-class quality product.
He also said the new range is targeted to yield revenue of Rs 125 crore by 2020.
Khanna mentioned that in order to maintain transparency, the company is providing a QR code on the product packaging that would explain the ‘Seed to Supplement’ journey of the manufacturing process alongside highlighting the three key pillars of Nutrilite, i.e, PSP.
Amway India Eastern Region RM Chandra Chakraborty said, “We have targeted Rs 50 crore in this range in this calendar year.” He also said the vision of the company by 2030 is 1,000 stores in the country and taking on to the Digital India initiative, 30 lakh NEFT transactions achieved by paying commission to the agents by 2030. The herbs range comprises four products including Nutrilite Tulsi, Nutrilite Brahmi, Nutrilite Ashwagandha and Nutrilite Amalaki, Vibhitaki and Haritaki.
