Uploading an objectionable post on social media sites against his own senior proved costly for a sub-inspector when taking serious cognizance of the matter, additional director general (ADG) of Bareilly Zone, Prem Prakash, ordered action after conducting probe in the matter.
Reports said that sub-inspector Shiv Prabhat, posted in Kalinagar police outpost of Philibhit district, had updated a post on his Facebook profile commenting on transfer of senior superintendent of police in Bareilly,
Jogendra Kumar out of the district. `` Bechary ne………par bareilly nikal gaya’’, the SI posted soon after the transfer of SSP Bareilly Jogender Kumar.
Taking serios cognizance, Prem Prakash summoned the SI and also ordered a probe against him. Interestingly, the SI deleted his post soon after the controversy but till then it already went viral on social media.
It may be mentioned that Prabhat was earlier posted as incharge of Rohelkhand police outpost in Baradari police station area of Bareilly before he was shifted to Philibhit few months back. He was again shifted to Moradabad recently but yet to be relieved from Philibhit.
