Sarang inspects water logging prone areas

Bhopal:Minister of State for Cooperative, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang inspected water logging prone areas of Narela Vidhan Sabha constituency from morning till evening amid rain. He also held discussions with the citizens during the inspection.Sarang instructed officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation that citizens should not face any problem due to the water logging. Water should be drained out immediately, wherever it gets accumulated. Water logging creates squalidness. He directed the field staff to be on duty and remain in touch with the local residents.Besides, Sarang has said that keeping in view the heavy rains, he gave instructions to the officers that citizens should not face any problem due to the water logging owing to heavy rains. Staff of the Municipal Corporation should be ready to work promptly. Sarang visited Ashoka Garden, Aishbagh, Semra, Chandbarh and Karond are to inspect settlements.

pvt colleges can only operate on rent for 5 yrs

Bhopal:The new non-government colleges in the state can be operated in rental buildings for a maximum of five years, as per the provisions mentioned in the Guidelines of Session 2018-19. The Higher Education Department has clarified that in any situation, after five sessions, the college is not allowed to operate in a rental building.Non-government colleges of the state, that have completed a period of five years in a rental building, will be given affiliation by the respective university only after obtaining due approval for shifting to own building from the Commissioner, Higher Education.

funds to govt colleges for sports promotion

Bhopal:A sum of Rs 20.14 lakh has been allotted for seven government colleges under sports promotion scheme. Under this Rs 4 lakhs each has been allotted to Government Bhimrao Ambedkar College, Amla in Betul district, Government Sanjay Gandhi Memorial College, Ganj Basoda in Vidisha district.Similarly, Government PG College Chhindwada has been given Rs 3.50 lakh while Rs 3 lakh each has been allotted to Government Navin Mahavidyalaya, Naugaon of Chhatarpur and Government Science College of Jabalpur. Rs 2.50 lakh has been allotted to Government College, Nainpur of Mandla district and Rs 14,600 to Government RV College, Manasa of Neemuch district.

lG Ravendra Pal Singh takes command of SCC

Bhopal:lieutenant General Ravendra Pal Singh, AVSM, VSM took over the command of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps from lieutenant General Iqroop Singh Ghuman, AVSM on Thursday, as the 23rd General Officer Commanding of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps.lieutenant General Ravendra Pal Singh, AVSM, VSM was commissioned in the Mechanised Infantry Regiment in June 1982. He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

On the eve of taking over the Sudarshan Chakra Corps lieutenant General Ravendra Pal Singh, AVSM, VSM reaffirmed his commitment of keeping a very high level of operational preparedness of the Corps at all times through focused training and meaningful human resource development. He is a recipient of the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal for his exemplary services.

RMNH organises plantation under van mahotsav

Bhopal:Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organized plantation on 06th July, 2018 under Van Mahotsav (1-7 July). During the plantation Bhringraj, Imli, Haldi, Sita ashok, Stevia, Sudarshan, Gudmaar, Shankhpushpi, Kansh (Kush) and lemon were planted by Manoj Kumar Sharma, Scientist-B & In-charge of the museum, Manik lal Gupta, Scientist-B & other staff members, they took a pledge to take care and conserve the plants planted by them.

new book on sant hirdaram sahib

Bhopal:Siddh bhau released an English book ‘A great Soul-Paramhans sant Hirdaram Sahib’ at Sant Kutia on Wednesday. Earlier this book was written in Hindi by Managing Trustee of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital lC Janiyani. later this was translated in to English by Dinesh Malviya “Ashq”. Siddh bhauji appreciated the translation quality of the book.It is learnt that there are a large number of disciples in abroad and the country. They do not have the knowledge of missionary works and spiritual power of Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahib. In view to make available all these informations of Sant, Janiyani had penned a Hindi book “Sant Ka Sanidhya” 5 years ago but this was also not useful for the foreign based disciples of Sant, as this was written in Hindi language. later Dinesh Malviya has translated it into English. On the occasion, Kiran and Pragya Malviya, Poet Rajendra Chauhan, Pradeep Prabhakar and lC Janiyani were present.

Bhopal:Under the aegis of BHEl Officers Club, a workshop on mutual fund, real state product and other financial product was organized by IIFl on Wednesday at the club premises. During the programme Navneet Dubey from IIFl briefed the gathering about various financial products.  Around 800 club members present on the occasion appreciated the content of the programme. OP Singh, General Secretary (BHEl Officers Club) coordinated the entire programme.

elderly couple allegedly drowns in well

Bhopal:An elderly couple allegedly drowned in a well in Sidhi district after falling into it in an inebriated condition.On the intervening night of July 3 and 4, Ramjiyawan Agaria (65) and his wife Noumatia (60) consumed a country-made liquor and then apparently had a fight over some issue at their home in Chakdour village, he said.On Wednesday morning, some villagers spotted the bodies floating in a well near the couple's house and informed the police, Additional Superintendent of Police Suryakant Mishra said, adding that the villagers also informed the police that the couple used to locally brew liquor from 'Mahua' flowers and sell it.
