The state government shifted 29 IPS officers including police chiefs of a dozen districts on Wednesday.

SP ATS, Prabhakar Chaudhary will be SP of Bijnore replacing Atul Sharma who goes to Meerut as SP (EOW). SSP STF, Amit Pathak will be new SSP of Agra replacing Dinesh Chandra Dubey who comes to lucknow at PAC headquarters. SP Security, Mohit Gupta goes as SP Fatehgarh in place of Dayanand Mishra, who comes to lucknow as SP in Food Cell. SP at Police HQ, Jugal Kishore will be SP of Bahraich replacing Sunil Kumar Saksena, who will now join at DGP office. 

SP Administration at DGP office, Sriparna Ganguly will be SP of Fatehpur replacing Kavindra Pratap Singh, who has been posted as Commandant of 4th battalion PAC in Allahabad. 

SP Public Grievances, Rakesh Shankar will be SP of Deoria in place of Rajeev Malhotra, who comes to lucknow as SP in Anti-Corruption Organisation. 

SP Railways (Moradabad) KK Chaudhary will be the new SP of Jaunpur in place of Shailesh Pandey, who has been made SP Security in lucknow. SP, Public Grievances (lucknow) Jai Prakash and SP of Bagpat Dr D Pradeep Kumar would swap postings. 

Similarly, SP of Ferozabad, Ajay Kumar and Commandant of 8th battalion, PAC, in Bareilly, Dr Manoj Kumar would also swap their postings. 

SP Railways in Gorakhpur, Dr Dharamveer Singh will be the new SP of Siddharthnagar replacing Satyendra Kumar, who goes as SP of EOW in Varanasi. Commandant of 44th battalion PAC in Meerut, Abhisek Singh will be the new SSP of STF while SP ACO in lucknow, lalit Kumar Singh goes as SP of Mau, replacing Abhisekh Yadav, who will now be SP Railways in Gorakhpur. 

Commandant of 38th battalion PAC in Aligarh N Kolanchi and SP Mahoba Anees Ahmed Ansari will swap places. Ms Sujata Singh will be Commandant of 44th battalion in Meerut while Subash Chandra Dubey, whose suspension was recently revoked, has been posted as SP Railways in Moradabad. 

Ajay Shankar Rai has been posted as Commandant of 2nd battalion PAC in Sitapur replacing Vinod Kumar Singh who will now join as Commandant of State Disaster Rescue Force.
