To observe the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, a marathon ‘Run For Unity’ will be organised in the city. The marathon will be held here today.
It is to be noted that the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel is observed as ‘National Integration Day’ on October 31 across the country. The marathon will be flagged off by State Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Yashodhara Raje Scindia at 9 am. The marathon will begin from TT Nagar Stadium. The marathon will conclude on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Park, Vallabh Bhavan.
Meanwhile, exhibiting an impressive performance at 10th Mini National Archery Competition the players of Madhya Pradesh Archery Academy bagged eight medals.
The players of Madhya Pradesh State Archery Academy won eight medals including three gold and five bronze at the 10th Mini National Archery Competition held at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, from October 23 to 28.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia expressed her happiness and congratulated them for such an outstanding performance. Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Upendra Jain also appreciated the players of the Archery Academy in the competition.
