Police nab gangster accused of hurling bomb in market

Gangster Vikas Tiwary has been remanded in judicial custody here on Monday. Vikas’ torn blue jeans too have been seized by the police to buttress its claim of Vikas’ involvement in the hurling of bomb in day light here in Daltonganj on October14.

A police team has been set up to nab the co accused Hari Tiwary who is at large.

According to acting officer in-charge of Daltonganj Police Station, Pramod Kumar, the two persons are accused of hurling a high sound bomb at a shop Palamu Agency on October 14 in the main market of Daltonganj .

The hurling of the bomb was done in day light. Though none were hurt in this bombing but there was a great public outcry as traders and shop keepers huddled together demanding security cover for them.

Kumar said this bomb was hurled to create terror as one other gangster Monu Rai alias Akash Rai was arrested and jailed here on October 7. This October 14 hurling of the bomb was in frustration of that arrest of Rai said police.

 Rai was arrested by Palamu police in Ranchi where Rai used to run a restaurant. Rai used to flaunt BJP flag in his 4 wheeler for this crime.

Vikas and Hari came on a bike on October 14, hurled the bomb and sped away.

As their retreat was nervous and in terrible panic the

bike skidded and Vikas fell from the bike and got torn his left knee side blue jeans which proved his nemesis. Vikas’s

left knee too sustained deep injuries.

Police gathered all this information from those who had seen this skidding, hurting and Vikas writhing with knee injuries in parts of Shahpur locality.

Police piecemealed all these information and zeroed in on Vikas and proved no wrong.

Police recovered the same torn blue jeans and found Vikas down with knee injuries. The bike used in the crime is yet to be recovered.

These two men work for the notorious gangster Sujit Sinha who is in Hazaribag jail.

Sources said Sujit Sinha runs the extortion network  from inside the Hazaribagh jail and these front men are all his agents to collect money by way of extortion.

Sources said these three faces are just the façade of a massive network of Sujit Sinha.
