Hotel lake View Ashoka of the India Tourism Development Corporation situated at Shyamla Hills, Bhopal will be operated by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation now. Share transfer agreement has been signed on Thursday at New Delhi in this regard.
The Hotel lake View Ashoka has come in the complete ownership of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation after the MoU signed at the Ministry of Tourism of Government of India. The hotel will be known as ‘Hotel lakeview’ in future.
The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had written a letter in this regard to the Government of India taking initiative on his own.
Welcoming the decision the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Surendra Patwa and Chairman of Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Bhoumik have congratulated the Tourism Development Corporation and extended good wishes.
Secretary Tourism and Managing Director of the Corporation Hariranjan Rao and Company Secretary Sandesh Yashlaha and General Manager of Hotel lake View Ashoka Avinash Gajrani were present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that Hotel lake View Ashoka enjoys the status of Three Star Hotel.
The hotel has facility of 4 suites, 39 deluxe rooms, swimming pool and restaurant etc. Elegant view of upper lake is the main attraction of the hotel.
