CM urged to ensure facilities at MKCG

The Manav Adhikar Surakshya Manch on Sunday held ‘Ghanta Yatra’ (cymbal beating rally) in protest against Government inaction in providing required facilities to the MKCG Medical College Hospital for the 16th time here on Sunday.

The Manch also sent a 10-point charter of demands to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through local MlA Dr RC Chyaupatnaik after the demonstration. They beat cymbals and informed people how the State Government remained silent over their various demands.

The demands include making Trauma Care department operational, setting up of a new CT scan machine and a digital X-ray manchine, opening of a Geriatric Ward, establishment at ICU at each ward, provision of 10 ambulances and stopping of privatization through PPP mode, opening of all Niramay centres and action against doctors remaining absent during duty hours.
