Friday, 29 December 2017 | PNS | Haridwar

While unveiling the statue of Prithviraj Chauhan at BHEl trijunction in Bahadrabad on Thursday, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat said that it was a matter of pride that a statue has been raised in the honour of great men of India.

The programme was hold by Kshatriya Chauhan Mahasabha and the community people had come from far flung places.

Speaking on the eve, CM Trivendra Rawat said, “For long the youths had been working on getting this crossing an idol, and today this has been accomplished.  The youths have the power to change the destiny of a nation and if united, can prove wonders.” Just like Prithviraj Chauhan ruled the hearts of the people, and was pride of the community.  The youths of the community have done a praiseworthy act by raising the statue which would keep reminding the passers by of the glories of the king. And we must emulate him.
