The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand listened grievances of large number of people at the state head office of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday. In the public hearing 160 grievances were registered. People narrated problems relating to jobs, financial assistance from the discretionary fund of CM, land disputes and construction of road to the CM on the occasion.
Talking to the media persons on the occasion, CM said that he will visit Gairsain before the proposed winter session of assembly.
He said that the state government is establishing direct communication with people by organizing Tehsil Diwas programmes in districts due to which rush to Dehradun to get their work done has decreased. He added that the state government believes in increasing public participation and communication. He opined that the pace of development in the state has increased after creation of a new state. CM congratulated people for the good performance of the state on Social development indices. He reiterated his government’s determination to provide electricity in every household of the state by the year 2019.
In the public hearing Arun Thapliyal of Nagnath Pokhari in Chamoli district told the CM that his health card issued under Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana (MSBY) is blocked. He claimed that he had to sell jewellery of his wife for treatment of his son. Raghuvir Singh who had travelled from Village Dohania, Kotabagh in Nainital said that he is facing problem in making freedom fighter dependent identity card for his son Dharmendra Singh. The CM immediately talked with district magistrate of Nainital and asked him to act accordingly on the matter. Representatives of the association Anganwadi workers also met the CM and submitted their memorandum.
