The CISF unit of BHEl, Bhopal, is observing a Fire Service Week by organising various awareness programmes.

As a part of the programme, drawing and essay competition was organised at Kendra Vidyalaya No; 1 for the students while a training session on controlling fire at initial stage was conducted for the teachers of the school.

 Similarly, training session was also conducted at Jawaharlal Nehru School, Habibganj, Satya Sai College, Habibganj and Vikram Higher Secondary School, Piplani.

A training programme on controlling fire accident was also conducted for the employees of MCF, Bhopal and CEPAT College, Govindpura.

An awareness programme on safety from domestic fire as well as quiz contest was held today for women at Anganwadi Kendra, Piplani and for the women employees of CISF. Slogan competition for the employees of BHEl, Bhopal was also held during the week.

 Meanwhile, under the aegis of SCOPE, ‘Public Sector Day’ is observed every year on the April 10 to acknowledge the contribution extended by the public sector towards the economic and social progress of the country.

On this occasion Public Sector week is being celebrated in BHEl, Bhopal. As a part of the series of programmes, Human Resource Development Centre the other day visited Vikash Handicapped Middle School, Govindpura under CSR. A programme was organised at the school to felicitate the students who got promoted from Class-VIII to Class-IX.

Similarly, sweets and sports items were also distributed to the students. Swagata S Saxena, DGM, HRDC proposed the vote of thanks.
