Selling of tickets to affiliated clubs and educational institutions of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) for the one-day international (ODI) cricket match between India and England scheduled to be played at the Barabati Stadium here on January 19 started from Saturday.
While 10,362 tickets would be sold to the affiliated clubs and institutions on January 14 and 15, as many as 32,403 tickets would be available for public at the counters of the stadium on January 16 and 17.
Cricket fans wishing to avail tickets worth over Rs 2,000 would have to pay in cheques and bank drafts at the counters. Tickets costing below Rs 2,000 can be purchased with cash. Card swipe machines would be available at the counters.
The seating capacity of the stadium has been reduced from 45,500 to 43,500. As many as 64 CCTV cameras, four high-powered movable CCTV cameras would be operational at the stadium on the match day.
The stadium gates would be opened at 10 am on the day. Water bottles would not be allowed inside the stadium.
The two teams would arrive in Bhubaneswar on Jan 18.
