In a major relief to the belegured State Health Department the agitating Auxilary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) have decided to postpone their stir till November 5. On Monday morning just before the launch of the Measles Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign, a delegation of the association of ANMs met the Director General (DG) health services. After the meeting the association decided to postpone their proposed boycott of the MR campaign. The district President of the association Chitra Rana said that the DG assured them that a positive decision on the demand of Assured Career Progression (ACP) would be taken before November 5. Meanwhile the state president of the association Guddi Matura said that if the demand for the ACP is not accepted till the date agreed then the association would be forced the start a massive statewide agitation from November 6 in which all works including MR vaccination would be boycotted
