SBI is observing Vigilance Awareness week
Bhopal: State Bank of India (SBI) is observing Vigilance Awareness week from October 30 to November 04. On Monday, at local Head Office (lHO), Bhopal, SP Singh, General Manager (NW-2) of the Bhopal Circle administered integrity pledge to all its employees to work with integrity and transparency in all their actions which involves for the betterment of public. During the week, Vigilance Department of the bank is conducting various programmes across the State of MP and Chhattisgarh to increase the public awareness for a ‘Corruption Free’ India. The programme includes e-pledge of Integrity, for bank staff and its customers, holding of ‘Gram Sabhas’ in rural areas, debates, panel discussions and quiz programmes, essay competition in various schools and colleges to increase the awareness for achieving eradication of corruption from all walks of life.
Rally held to spread the message of environment
Bhopal: Abhay Sagar Foundation and Sagar Public School organised a cycle rally to spread the message of environment conservation and sustainability under its mission to ‘Go Green’. Over 400 students of Sagar Public School – Saket Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Rohit Nagar assembled on Gate No; 5 of Minal Residency on their colorful bicycles to participate in the rally. The rally got flagged off by Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Sagar Group. The rally moved inside the Minal Residency spreading the message of Save Fuel, Save Environment and got culminated at Minal Mall. Various teams of Sagar Public School students performed ‘Nukkad Natak’ to spread the awareness on environment conservation. Over 400 saplings were distributed amongst citizens to join the mission of Go Green. ‘SAGESTRA’– The band of Sagar Public School performed live songs to connect and entertain the citizens and connect with its mission.
Speaking on the occasion, Education Minister Deepak Joshi said that the students of Sagar Public School have given us the message to conserve the environment and their effort to educate the community is commendable.
Pledge of National Unity to be administered
Bhopal: Pledge of National Unity will be administered to the Officers and Employees in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel park situated in front of the state secretariat at 11 am on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekata Divas on October 31. The pledge to be administered is given below:-
'Mein Satyanishtha se Shapath leta Hoon ki Mein Rashtra ki Ekta, Akhandta aur Suraksha ko Banaye Rakhne ke liye Swam ko Samarpit Karonga aur Apne Deshvasiyon ke Beech yeh Sandesh Phailaane ka bhi Bharsak Prayatna Karoonga. Mein Yeh Shapath Apne Desh ki Ekta ki Bhavna se le raha hoon jise Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel ki Doordarshiyata evam Kaaryon dwara Sambhav Banaya ja saka. Mein Apne Desh ki Antarik Suraksha Sunishchit karne ke liye apna Yogyadaan karne ka bhi Satyanishtha se Sankalp Karta hoon'.
Guv to unveil Akhil Bhartiya Kalidas Samaroh
Bhopal:Governor Omprakash Kohli will inaugurate Akhil Bhartiya Kalidas Samaroh in Ujjain on October 31. This year, the prestigious samaroh will be inaugurated with the episode of Dev Prabodhni Ekadashi which will enhance the glory of this programme. Mangal Ghat Sthapna and Nandi will be held on this occasion. Mangal Ghat Sthapna beginning from Ramghat of Kshipra will reach Kalidas Sanskrit Academy. On the same day, performances of Pt Raj-Sajan Mishr of Banaras will be held at 7.30 pm. Under the Kalidas Samaroh being organised under the joint aegis of Culture Department and Vikram University, Rashtriya Kalidas Exhibition of paintings and sculptures besides musical instruments and exhibition of ancient coins will also be organized. Sarasvat and cultural programmes will be held during the 7 day long Akhil Bhartiya Kalidas Samaroh.
Minister for Energy Paras Jain, Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Surendra Patwa, MP Chintamani Malviya and Mayor Meena Jonwal will grace the occasion as the special guests. Senior litterateur Acharya Revaprasad Diwedi, Former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi and Kamal Morarka will also grace the programme.
UMA to observe 34th foundation day of Kerala
Bhopal: Along with the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh, United Malayali Association (UMA) would also observe 34th foundation day of Kerala on November 1.
A programme in this connection is scheduled at Campion School auditorium in Arera Colony, Bhopal. Different cultural programmes by Keralites would be presented on the occasion.
As many as 60 artists from Nirupam group of Thiruvananthapuram would present conventional songs and music of kerala. The artists would reach Campion school in the form of a procession from ICUF ashram.
On the occasion, Kerala government’s laxmidasan would be chief guest, while OSD to Finance Minister of MP PP Varghese would be special guest. President of UMA C Ashokan and General Secretary Thomas Kochupurackal would address the programme.
