The Paradip Port (PPT) began observing the Vigilance Awareness Week with PPT Chairman Rinkesh Roy administering pledge to the officers and employees of PPT on Monday.
A street play “Musa: The Rat” was organised on the occasion by the CANMASS to make the public aware about the menace of corruption in day-to-day life.
This play would also be held at different places of Paradip during the week that will conclude on November 4.
Various competitions like essay, painting, elocution and quiz contests among PPT Officers and employees and local school students and other activities relating to vigilance awareness are scheduled during the week.
PPT staffs are also taking Integrity-e-Pledge through the PPT website and website of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). For this, they would receive Certificates of Commitment from the CVC. The pledge would also be administered to school students on different dates during the week.
Several Banners have been displayed in the locality for creating public awareness on this year’s theme “My Vision: Corruption-Free India”. Prizes would be distributed at the valedictory function on November 4.
