last rites of class X student of Kendriya Vidyalaya -3 who died in Pachmari during Scouts and Guide camp were performed in the city on Sunday; deceased drowned at Apsara Vihar waterfall on Saturday.
Student of class X of Kendriya Vidyalaya -3 Aditya Parihar (16) died after he went inside water at water fall. He was rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The incident took place in the afternoon during the group visited Apsara Vihar water fall and Aditya went incidentally deep inside water and started drowning and after the teachers and mentors spotted he was rescued and provided with first aid and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The parents of Aditya were informed in the evening regarding the incident and they reached Pachmari in the night. On Sunday the body of the deceased was provided to the family after the post mortem was conducted.
Aditya’s father works with Public Works Department (PWD). Aditya was lone son among three siblings. His mother is a house wife.
He went to attend camp from May 16 to May 22 organised by Bharat Scout and Guide in a group of 35 students.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
