BSF seizes Pak boat, arrests 1 off Kutch coast

The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on Monday seized a Pakistani boat with one person aboard it near the border pillar number 1,166 close to marshy water body of Haraminala connected with Arabian Sea off Kutch coast.

The 25 ft X4 ft boat fitted with a Chinese fan made propelling motor had entered the India waters in the night and was caught by BSF patrol team close to border pillar 1166, said BSF communiqué, adding that the one person sitting in it looked like a fishermen and nothing objectionable from the boat have been seized.

Fishes, fishing equipment, diesel etc have been found in it.

However as a precautionary measure he is being interrogated deeply,’’ said BSF.

A month ago BSF patrol teams had nabbed 21 such boats with 5 Pakistani fishermen from the same area.
