Two persons suffered injuries after they were shot at and assaulted outside a bar in the Mehrauli-Gurugram road area.

The incident occurred on Sunday night following which two persons were arrested on Monday. More than 15 people armed with sticks and pistols assaulted Parvinder and Praveen outside the bar at Grand Mall, they said. They suffered bullet injuries and were admitted to the Artimes Hospital, Gurugram.

According to the police, the incident took place inside S Bar in Grand Mall located on the busy Mehrauli-Gurugram (MG) road area. The horrifying act was captured by a CCTV camera installed inside the mall.

On Sunday night, bar owner Deepak Kumar was standing with his friends Praveen Kumar and Parvinder Singh when a gang of 15 people attacked them and some of them opened fire. Both Parvinder and Praveen were hit by bullets and are undergoing treatment at a hospital where their condition is said to be stable.

Bar owner Deepak immediately informed the police about the incident. During the probe, police identified two people involved in the crime and later arrested them.

The accused have been identified as Mintu, who hails from Faridabad, and Amit Kumar, a resident of Dohla village of Gurugram's Sohna. Police also came to know that the shootout was a result of personal rivalry between the two groups.

Ravinder Kumar the spokesperson of Gurugram Police said. “The manager of S Bar, Deepak, informed the police about the incident. In a complaint, he also said that they fired on the victims after assaulting them,” he said. The police are searching for the remaining accused.
