Romil Baaniya is new DCP of South Delhi

Romil Baaniya, an Indian Police Service (IPS) of the 2007 batch of Arunachal, Goa, Mizorama & Union Territories (AGMUT) and currently posed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of South-east district has been posted as the DCP of high profile South district. Baaniya will replace Ishwar Singh, who has been sent to Traffic Police as DCP.

lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Monday issued transfer orders and posting of 12 DCPs on Monday. This is the first major district level overhaul of DCPs by the Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patniak.

Chinmay Biswal of 2008 batch and currently posted  as Additional DCP (South), will take over as the new DCP of South east district. Additional DCP North west, Vijayanta Arya will be the new Additional DCP South.

 Shibesh Singh, who was recently posted as DCP south west district has been posted as DCP Dwarka. He will have  Dabri,  Bindapur, Uttam Nagar, Dwarka, Dwarka North , Dwarka South, Sector 23 Dwarka, Chhawla, Jaffarpur Kalan, Najafgarh and Baba Haridass Nagar, under his jurisdictions.

Milind Dumbare, DCP North west, has been posted as the DCP of South West. Aslam Khan who was posted as DCP Traffic has been made DCP North west and will replace Dumbere.

Meanwhile, DCP Rohini district, Rishi Pal, has been transferred as DCP Special Branch while Rajneesh Gupta, currently DCP Special Branch will swap places with Rishipal.

Vichitra Veer, the Additional DCP (II) south west has been transferred as additional DCP (II)  Dwarka district. 1997-batch DANIPS officer AK lall who was posted as additional DCP Shahdara district has been transferred as Additonal DCP North West.

Meanwhile, I D Shukla of the 1995 batch who was repatriated from Puducherry has been posted as the Joint

commissioner of Police ( Security).
