Sukhbir condoles death of Punjabi lyricist Gurbaksh Singh Albela

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of noted Punjabi 'dhadi' and lyricist Gurbaksh Singh Albela (61) who passed away today after prolonged illnesses.

 In a condolence message Sukhbir Singh Badal said the passing away of  Albela is a great loss to the religious and cultural arena as he believed in clean and value based writings and singings. He had made immense contribution to promote rich Punjabi culture through 'kavishari' and folk songs.

Meanwhile, Information & Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia also condoled the demise of Dhadi Albela.

 Expressing their heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, the Deputy Chief Minister and Information & Public Relations Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength and courage to them to bear this irreparable loss.
