Sex racket: Sunil Meher arranged striptease parties

Music album heroines from different parts of the country were brought to selected hotels here by sex racket kingpin Sunil Meher for striptease dance parties, according to police sources.

After the Odisha police have started investigating Meher’s clients’ list, such details have tumbled out of the closet.

A majority of the customers were gold and diamond dealers and mines mafia members, who were willing to pay up to a lakh for a striptease night, according to reports.

After Meher’s bank accounts were investigated, sensational facts such as bringing of album heroines from outside the State by flight for such adult parties have come to light.

Police have found transactions worth lakhs of rupees from places like Surat, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai in Meher’s and the clients’ bank accounts, details of which are currently under investigation.

Meanwhile, trying to break through the web of the inter-State flesh trade network and to elicit more information on Meher’s ‘paid girlfriend’ scheme across the country, the Commissionerate Police on Tuesday sought his remand granted by court for four more days.

Startling details of the sex trade racket in Odisha and outside have come out which had as many as 150 girls, mostly college students, who were working as ‘paid girlfriends’ at a salary of `1.5 lakh per month for servicing rich customers across.

The notorious pimp was also running an ‘escort service’ which was working in a pyramid style with the old escorts ensnaring other girls and getting a commission of `10,000 to `20,000 as commission for a single call girl, police sources added.
