The Sri Raghunath Charitable Hospital here has charity services for indoor and outdoor patients. About 45 patients on an average are getting enrolled in the outdoor admission register daily.
It provides pathology services since opening. At present there are nine medical officers in different sectors like General Surgery, Medicine, O&G, Dental, Cardiology and Ayush. It has qualified and trained nursing and pharmacist staff members.
The hospital has earned high reputation by adoption of free medicine supply to the patients and mobile health camps and ambulance services to the needy patients at door steps. It provides medical care to the BPl card holders and their family members as per the RSBY and BKKY schemes.
In 2012, it got another scope of high value ultramodern telemedicine healthcare services based on modern science and technology by availing super specialist medication at door step.
Sri Raghunath Charitable Trust, which runs the hospital, has launched programme “Education for All” and opened an educational institution both at elementary and secondary stage by opening Annapurna UPS and Annapurna Bana Bidyalaya with classes from VI to X.
In respect of information and technology, it provides certain facilities under National E-Governance Scheme of SAHAJ to the people at rural base by providing billing facility in different sectors towards insurance, electricity, land records, residential and income certificates and phone bills.
It is also conducting ASHA training programme in Module 6 and 7 under supervision of the CDMO, Puri .There are 448 ASHAs in different blocks of the district who participated in the training programme.
