Painting camp being held at UPES' Bidholi campus

An all India Artist Camp on painting is being organised at Bidholi campus of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). The three camp organised under joint aegis of Wisdom Society of Creative Arts started on Thursday.

The camp was inaugurated by the prominent journalist Kushal Kothiyal.

Speaking on the occasion he appreciated the contribution of artists in society and nation building. He said by the help of these platforms, the artists get an opportunity to display their artistic talent and motivate the students and members of the staff.

A total of 25 artists of repute from all over India are participating in this Art Camp.

The University has made staying arrangements for these artists in the UPES Campus.

The Chancellor of the University, Dr. S J Chopra, Vice Chancellor Dr Shirhari, Director Administration, Brig S S Dhillon (Rtd),  Vice President Academic Affairs, Dr S R Dass, Deputy Director Administration Praveen Srivastava (Rtd) and Manager Administration Manish Yagnik were present on the occasion.
