Mining inspector suspended

Bhopal: The State Government has suspended Mining Inspector in Dewas district Smt. Reena Pathak with immediate effect. Mineral Resources Department has suspended Smt. Pathak for gross negligence, indifference and indiscipline.

One-day workshop for e-auction

Bhopal:Mineral Resources Department will hold a one-day workshop regarding e-auction in Satna district on May 21. It is noteworthy that department would e-auction 4 mineral blocks in the state. These include diamond block at Hatupur in Panna district, limestone blocks in Nimarmunda in Damoh district and Bandarkhan and Ghudsa in Satna district. Director Geology and Mining Vineet Austin informed that apart from the department, Messrs Meacon associated with Government of India, SBI Cap and MSTC will also give detailed information to participants.

‘No stone left unturned by Govt during Simhastha’

Bhopal:The State Government and administration have left no stone unturned for efficient and excellent arrangements for Simhastha-2016 at Ujjain. Due respect has been paid to seers and Mahatmas. Adequate facilities have been provided to Akharas. The team of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has done very well. In-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh is also working hard day in and day out to ensure success of Simhastha'. This was stated by Secretary of Nirmal Akhara Mahant Balwant Singh when the In-charge Minister visited the Akhara to meet saints and seers there. During his visit to Nirmal Akhara on Badnagar road, In-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh also met Mahant Swami Gyandev Singh Vedantacharya and Mahant Gopal Singh, other saints and seers and sought their blessings. In-charge Minister also felicitated saints and seers with garlands and shawls.

In-charge Minister meets Mahant Maheshwar Dasji

Bhopal:In-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh met saints and seers at Panchayati Bada Udaseen Akhara on Ramghat on the banks of Kshipra at Ujjain on Wednesday and discussed preparations for next Shahi Snan with them. In-charge Minister felicitated Mahant Maheshwar Dasji with garland and shawl.

Anandi Ben elated on Bhoot-bhavan Mahakal Darshan

Bhopal:Gujarat's Chief Minister Anandi Ben Patel had Darshan of Bhoot bhavan Mahakal after taking the holy dip in river of salvation Kshipra during Simhastha at Ujjain on Wednesday. Anandi Ben was greatly moved after having Darshan. She said that Mahakal's Darshan and worship is very thrilling for her. It has become an unforgettable moment of her life.

State Service Prelim Exams on May 31

Bhopal:Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission's State Service Prelim Exams will be held on Tuesday, May 31. Exams will be held in two shifts from 10 am to 12 noon and 2.15 to 4.15 pm. Total one lakh 92 thousand 73 candidates will appear in the exams at 440 exam centres in 51 districts. At Bhopal, exam centres numbers 25/01 and 25/20 were allotted to Government, Higher Secondary School, Shabban Chauraha, Jahangirabad, Bhopal. In view of administrative convenience, exam centre number 25/20 has been shifted to Sadhu Waswani School, Radh Mangan Bhavan, One Tree Hill Road, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bairagarh, Bhopal. Centre number 25/01 will remain as it is. Controller Exams informed that amended admit cards for exam centre number 25/20 have been uploaded. Students of this centre should re-download their admit cards from website www.mponline.gov.in, www.mppscdemo.in, www.mppsc.nic.in or www.mppsc.com. SMSes are also being sent to concerning students.

labourers to vote in Ghoradongari bypoll

Bhopal:labourers will be able to exercise their franchise in Ghoradongari Vidhan Sabha by-election on May 30. For this, labour Commissioner has issued a circular. Penal action would be taken against violators of this provision. Employers of workers in the assembly constituency have been asked to give paid weekly off to workers of all trades, businesses, industries and other establishments for casting their votes.

Devotees perform Pind Daan on Siddhavat Ghat

Bhopal:Devotees visiting Ujjain perform Pind Daan and Kal Sarp Pooja at Siddhavat ghat on the banks of river of salvation Kshipra. Pandas (priests) remain present at the ghat to perform these rituals. Some of these Pandas have put up flaxes and banners displaying their names and addresses to facilitate devotees. They have also constructed Dharmshala and shades for devotees' convenience. Hundreds of devotees perform Pind Daaan of their ancestors daily sitting under these shades. Similarly, people with their families perform Kal Sarp Pooja to get rid of Kal Sarp Dosh. Pilgrims informed that first of all they get performed Pooja through Pandas at the gaht, which is significant due to being on the banks of holy Kshipra river. Pilgrims informed that the state government has provided all sorts of excellent facilities to devotees during Mahakumbh.

All-India Dance Festival being held during Simhastha

Bhopal:All-India Dance Festival is being held during Simhastha at Ujjain on the stage of Sanskar Bharti, an all-India organisation. Under Sanskriti Utsav, Sanskar Bharti Purvottar and Atulya Bharat would continue till May 21. Utsav was inaugurated on Monday by the chief guest, Delhi's Kathak danseuse Sumitra Sharma and special guest, Bengaluru's Kathak exponent Kripa Phadke.  On the stage of Sanskar Bharti in Ujadkhera sector of Simhastha, troupe form Odisha presented Odissi Tal Vadya and Devendra Dev of Bareli presented Dhyeya. North-eastern artistes presented attractive dances. Assam's troupe presented Bargeet, Sikkim's troupe Morani dance, Manirpur's troupe martial art dance, Assam's troupe Shankari dance, Sikkim's troupe Ghatu dance and Manipur's troupe presented Basant Ras.

Under Sanskar Bharti Purvottar is a north-eastern organization dedicated to and active for qualitative and quantative improvement of arts. It is making efforts to promote music, dance and art in 8 north-eastern states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Darjeeling and Kalimpong.

Kabir Vani pleases and motivates heart

Bhopal:Verses of Kabir have moral values. They please and motivate hearts. This was stated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the camp of Asangdev Maharaj at Ujjain on Tuesday. He along with his family sought Maharaj's blessings.  Asangdev Maharaj said that when he had come to Madhya Pradesh 15 years ago, condition of states power and roads was pitiable. Today, under the guidance of Chief Minister i Chouhan, the state is marching on the path of progress. He described Chouhan as an able and capable Chief Minister.

CM visits hospital run by Prakhar Charitable Mission

During his visit to Simhastha Mela area, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the hospital run by Prakhar Charitable Mission at Ujjain on Tuesday. He inspected various wards there. lauding this work, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude towards Prakhar Maharaj. The Chief Minister was informed that the hospital has treated 507 patients and extended healthcare facilities to 10 thousand 908 patients so far.

10 get life term in murder case

Dewas:A local court has awarded life imprisonment to ten people in connection with a murder case while another accused died during the trial. Special Judge PC Sharma convicted the 10 accused on Tuesday. According to the prosecution, the convicts shot dead Piyush Raghvanshi at a roadside eatery in the wee hours following a dispute on June 1, 2013. Piyush was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Press Thana police produced challan against 11 accused but one Abhisek Rathore died during hearing.
