Asnani school observes earth day

Bhopal: Students of Asnani School on the occasion of World Earth day have taken up the task to protect our feathered friends and feed them during the summer season.

The sun is at its peak during the summer season and this summer is no different. Not only humans, but even animals and birds suffer a lot during this period. The harsh summer treats sparrows pretty badly as they do not have access to water to quench their thirst and food is scarce too.

As a part of this Community Service Club activity, the students, ably guided by their teachers, placed large earthen pots filled with sparrow feed and water all over the school for the birds. This is of great help to birds like sparrows to satisfy their food and thirst needs. The baby sparrows need to be fed constantly and this kind gesture will surely help them. This activity is not only limited to the school as the students from every single class of Asnani School will carry on a similar activity at their respective homes too.

Bhavna Gupta, Principal, Asnani School said that she was positive about the impact of the activity program on the students and the way they treat the birds and animals in their daily life.
