The second day of Savishkar iFAST-2015 was all about amazing and innovative ideas. Here on Thursday, the students from across the country presented the unique models prepared by them. Interestingly, these working models were closely related to the needs of common man. Students from Oriental College presented a device named as HHO generator with the help of which any vehicle can run on water. The device is helpful in increasing the average of the vehicle and it is even eco-friendly.
While, Harsh Sharma, Amit Sahu, Rahul Sinha and lekha Sharma prepared a machine with the help of which any person can generate electricity in house. Explaining about the machine Amit Sahu said that the machine can convert mechanical energy to electrical energy which in turn generates electricity. With an expenditure of Rs50-60,000 the machine of ‘common man’ can be created.
Kaavya and Saujanya, students from BVRIT, Hyderabad presented an android app named as ‘Kid Zone’ created by them for special children with the help of which they can not only learn to speak but also to read. Apart from this, the informative stalls put up by Crompton Greaves and HEG noticed huge crowd of students as they displayed their huge range of appliances while on technical education stall, the students were informed about the important schemes of the government.
The stalls were also put up by DRDO, Energy Development Corporation, Tourism Corporation, CIPET, STPI, DTE and Department of Commerce and Industry Madhya Pradesh. Further, career counseling by experts was also held. Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication Brij Kishore Kuthiyala said that there is a need to have a positive state of mind for creating any technique as this helps in bringing out positive results. Managing Director of MPSTDC Ashwani lohani said, “We should only concentrate on our target rather than imagining its results. Target should be decided first,” he added.
Omkar Rai from STPI, chairman of DICCI Milind Kamble, Chairman of Oriental group Praveen Thakral, Managing Director of Saiphia technology Dhananjay Pandey and the chairman of IES group BS Yadav were also present and interacted with the students. It was an informative session for the students and faculty members as well.
