Higher and Technical Education Minister Umashankar Gupta distributed certificates of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana to residents of Rishi Nagar in ward-46 here on Tuesday. He said that maximum number of people should avail benefit of the scheme.
Gupta urged that all people should open bank account under Jan-Dhan Yojana. They should also avail benefit of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima and Atal Pension Yojana. He informed that `2 lakh insurance cover is given under the scheme for only `12 per annum premium. Gupta informed that Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has been launched to help unemployed people to set up self-employment. Under the scheme, upto `5 lakh loan can be availed from bank without furnishing guarantee. local public representatives were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Minister Umashankar Gupta felicitated teachers with shawl and shriphal at MVM School at Nehru Nagar in ward-29 here on Tuesday.
Gupta said that the teacher who imparts quality teaching is always remembered by students. He said that to ensure attendance of students in classrooms it is necessary that all their queries should be satiated. Gupta said that students listened to counsel of teachers more than parents. local public representatives were also present on the occasion.
