Tata Power’s 74:26 joint venture with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Maithon Power limited (MPl) has been at the forefront of maintaining its operational excellence, State of the art infrastructure and being the technically advance power plant.
To showcase the excellence of the power plant, K Chandrashekhar, CEO, Maithon Power ltd and other senior members of Tata Power organised a plant visit for AWK langstieh, the newly appointed chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation ltd.
He was accompanied by GP Singh, director MPl & project head DVC Maithon.
K Chandrashekhar took the chairman through the power plant and discusse technical strengths of the power plant, and it’s quality, occupational health and safety management system which are being followed to comply with the zero tolerance policy on accidents making it a Zero Fatal Plant.
The chairman was also appraised about the various CSR and sustainability programmes being orgainsed by the Tata Power team for the community living around the plant.
Speaking on the occasion, K Chandrashekhar said, “It’s a proud moment for us to have AWK langstieh, Chairman, DVC at our plant and we wish him the very best for his new role. We are looking forward to build a cohesive relationship and strengthen our partnership to serve the country and community more efficiently”.
