School Education Minister Paras Jain reviewed departmental activities at a meeting at Mantralaya here on Friday. Additional Chief Secretary School Education SR Mohanthy, Commissioner Public Instructions DD Agrawal and Commissioner Rajya Shiksha Kendra Rashmi Arun Shami also attended the meeting.
Minister Jain directed to ensure smooth conduct of Board’s class X and XII exams scheduled to start from March 2 and March 5, respectively.
He said that teams of officers should undertake surprise inspection of exam centres during exam.
Complaints of mismanagement, furniture, etc. should not come from anywhere.
Attention should be paid to students’ convenience at exam centres.
Proper arrangements of water, security and light should be ensured.
Agrawal informed that teams comprising Joint Directors, Deputy Directors and other officers of School Education Department will be constituted.
These teams will undertake surprise inspections of exam centres to take stock of exam conduct and other arrangements.
