For the year 2016, Indian Medical Association (IMA) of Gwalior branch has conducted the elections. All the office bearers were elected in this election.

Paediatrics Surgeon Dr Ajay Upadhaya was elected as President, Dr Swati Joshi as Secretary and Dr Dinesh Udaniya as President for the year 2017. Election of IMA was conducted under the supervision of Election Officers Dr Kishore Mangnani and Dr AK Chaudhary.

In this election of 2016, Dr Ajay Upadhaya-President, Dr Archana Tiwari-Assistant Director (CGP), Dr Hari Singh Kushwaha, Dr Sushmita Mungi Vice-President, Dr Swati Joshi-Secretary, Dr Kusum Singhal-Secretary (CGP), Dr Sunil Agarwal-Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Neeraj Sharma-Joint Secretary, Dr Sanjeev Burman and Dr Santosh Singhal-Joint Secretary (CGP), Dr Ashok Jain (Treasurer), Dr Praveen Gautam-Auditor, Dr Jyoti Upadhaya-Auditor(CGP) were elected.

Dr Kalpana Jain, Dr Anil Saxena, Dr VPS Rana, Dr Ashwini Bhatnagar, Dr A C Bansal, Dr Mamta Shukla, Dr Vijay Govil, Dr Pankaj Jain, Dr Pratibha Yadav, Dr Ravi Dalmiya, Dr Kuldeep Saxena, Dr Harsh Bhatt, Dr Shirish Singhal, Dr Avdesh Divakar and Dr Veerendra Verma were elected as executive members of the IMA.

Members of CGP-Dr Bhisham Jaiswani, Dr Rashim Agarwal, Dr Rakesh Chaturvedi, Dr Dinesh Bohere, Dr SD Makhija, Dr AS Tomar, Dr Priyesh Marskole, Dr Richa Sharma, Dr. Manoj Bansal, Dr Manish Chaturvedi, Dr P Jaju, Dr Jai Mathur, Dr Kiran Chaudhary, Dr Dipali Saxena, and Dr Veera lohiya were given place. After the election, former IMA President Dr Ashok Mishra, Dr AS Bhalla, Dr Mukul Tiwari, Dr Purendra Bhasin, Dr Ajay Chaudhary, Dr Jai Mathur and Dr KK Mangwani have expressed gratitude to Dr Upadhaya and his team.
