Saturday, 04 April 2015 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

A Delhi court on Thursday allowed the CBI to take Debashis Dev (30) alias Bunty, who had shot the lewd video uploaded by main accused of the MMS scandal builder Subrat Sahu alias Kalia, on a four-day remand. The CBI had arrested ‘Bunty of Hulipur’ in Cuttack district on March 31 for allegedly recording the video clip without the consent of the victim girl.  The Central investigating agency had registered a case into the incident slapping charges under Sections 292, 354 (C) of IPC and 66, 67-E, 67A of IT Act, 2000 against the accused. CBI sources said Bunty had shot the video in which Kalia is seen in a sexual act with a receptionist at his real estate firm located at VSS Nagar. Kalia, who is on a seven-day remand granted by a Delhi court, is in CBI custody for interrogation. Following the arrest of the duo, the CBI has started inquiring about the person and location where the editing of the video had been done. Notably, Kalia was arrested on March 24 after the Supreme Court ordered the CBI to probe the videos of sexual acts, including rapes or gang rapes, of unidentified victims uploaded on social networking sites, including WhatsApp, by unknown people.
