By election for the post of Nagar panchayat member (woman seat) of the ward number-4, Neta Nagar, Sultanpur Patti in Udham Singh Nagar will be held on Monday. Voting for the aforesaid post of the member nagar panchyat will be held between 8 am and 5 pm on August 31, according to the district election office, Udham Singh Nagar.
Subsequently, counting of votes will be done from 10 am onwards on September 1, 2015, added the officials concerned of the district election office, Udham Singh Nagar. The by election process would be completed with the help of electronic voting machines, they added.
In a bid to conduct the by elections in a fair and peaceful manner, SDM Bazpur, Tirathpal Singh, has appointed as election officer, further said the officials concerned.
