Aditya Padhi new Chief Secy

The Odisha Government on Saturday appointed 1983 batch IAS officer Aditya Prasad Padhi as the new Chief Secretary of the State.

Presently, Padhi is working as Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister.

A notification to this effect was issued with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik nod on Saturday evening. Incumbent CS GC Pati would retire on Monday.

“Personally, it is great pleasure for me to get this coveted posting,” said Padhi, who is left with working tenure of four years.

Development Commissioner (DC) UN Behera was appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary to CM, while ACS Finance R Balakrishnan was given additional charge of DC and Women and Child Development Secretary Vishal Dev was appointed as Finance Department Special Secretary.
