As many as 44 students got jobs at two-day district-level career opportunities and placement fair at Government Motilal Vigyan Mahavidyalaya (MVM) here on Friday. As many as 2,500 students took part in the fair. Concluding the fair, Minister of State for Higher and School Education Deepak Joshi said that students should avail maximum benefit of such fairs.
Joshi said that Government should be informed if difficulty is experienced in holding such fairs anywhere. He said that availing benefits of government’s schemes, students should participate in State’s ‘Make in MP’ and Central Government’s “Make in India” campaigns. Sharing his experiences, Joshi said that the loan taken to run his own industry was repaid in just 8 years against time-limit of 10 years. Joshi exhorted students to devote themselves fully to whatever work they do. No work is small or big.
As many as 18 companies participated in placement fair where 54 stalls were put up to give information about job-oriented schemes. Aditya lunawat informed about career guidance. He informed that a target has been set to impart career guidance to 3 lakh students by March 31. College principal Abha Bhargava informed about placement fair.
Meanwhile, at state-level teacher-employee sports competition here on Friday, Joshi said that the State government is contemplating to develop national level sports grounds. School and Higher Education and Tribal Welfare Departments will contemplate on framing an integrated policy for sports activities.
Joshi said that it is under consideration to develop national level sports grounds in the State. He said that all possible assistance will be given to promote sports activities. Joshi said that sports coaching will be imparted to children from class VI in accordance with their interest. Joshi gave away prizes to teachers-employees for outstanding performance.
