Two killed in Gomia road mishap
Bermo: Two youths died on the spot when two motorcycles collided head on near IEl police station in Gomia block under the same police station here on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Md Moeuddin and Ramchandra Kisku. Both were travelling on a their bikes that rammed each other near IEl police station in Gomia of the Bokaro district while trying to over take the other vehicle, leading to the death of both of the riders on the spot.
5-day Mega lok Adalat kicks off
lohargada: A five-day long Mega lok Adalat was jointly inaugurated by DC Manjunath Bhajantri, SP Manoj Ratan Chothe and PDJ Vishnu Kant Sahay. The Adalat will be conducted till Feb 27 from 3 pm to 4.30 pm every day. DJ Vishnu Kant Sahay said, “There is no victory and defeat of any party in this Adalat. The decision of the Adalat is considered final and there is no further petition against its decision.”
Drive for school dropout women held
Bokaro: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility, Bokaro steel Plant (BSl) has taken up ‘literate to Matriculate’ project to encourage women who had dropped out of school to get education till matric.
The project which will be implemented in collaboration with Zila Saksharta Samiti, Bokaro and National Institute of Open Schooling.
