MbPT hands over three  buildings to cancer hospital

On a day when Union Minister for Shipping and Road Transport Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the renovated Sassoon Dock Gate and Bell Tower Clock in Mumbai, the Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) handed over three buildings of the for a good cause to the Tata Memorial Centre (Cancer Hospital and Research Centre) here as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The three buildings that the MbPT handed over to the Tata Memorial Centre at the hands of Gadkari on Friday, are located at Cotton Green comprising 120 residential units, will be used to provide a shelter to cancer patients and their family members who come to Mumbai for the treatment from all over the country.  Transit allotment of these units will be in the hands of Tata Memorial Centre.
