SRK won’t be a part of KWK

 

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has appeared on all the previous seasons of Koffee with Karan, will not feature on the TV show this time. This will the first time Shah Rukh will be skipping the popular show, hosted by his good friend and filmmaker Karan Johar, which is in its fourth edition. The 48-year-old Chennai Express actor has appeared in all the previous seasons of the chat show, which revolves around celebrities from the film industry. In the first two seasons, SRK appeared in the opening episode itself. In the first one (2004), SRK came with Kajol and in the next one he was accompanied by Kajol and Rani Mukerji. In the third season he appeared solo.

“He (Shah Rukh) won't be coming on the show this time,” a source said.

West Bengal is set to witness a Bollywood extravaganza during the election campaign.

Famed music composer Bappi lahiri, contesting the lok Sabha polls on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket, is likely to bring in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and melody queens lata Mangeshkar or Asha Bhosle while canvassing for votes.

An album of MJ’s unreleased songs

Eight previously unreleased songs by the late Michael Jackson will be part of a new album, Xscape, the singer's estate and Sony Music Entertainment's Epic Records said.The songs were unearthed from Jackson's archive of recorded material by lA Reid, the chairman of Epic Records. Xscape will be released on May 13.The new album is the latest venture for Jackson's estate to capitalise on the posthumous popularity of the ‘King of Pop’. The unreleased tracks have been reproduced by the likes of present-day hitmakers Jerome ‘Jroc’ Harmon, who has helped produce hits for Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.
